Project Vision

The customer wanted to extend the back of the house with a comfortable, heated room where he had maximum view of the yard.  They wanted a 14ft opening that could be closed off and a 14ft accordion paneled door was installed.  The windows must convert to at least ¾ screen when the windows are opened.

Budget Details:

  • 16ft x 20ft Sunroom: $60K to $68K depending on options
  • 14ft Accordion Door: $16 to 20K
  • Infrared Heat Upgrades: $4K

From Vision to Reality

A 14ft opening was created to the existing house for the installation of the accordion panel door.  Structural ridge beams were used to maximize the interior ceiling height.  EZ Breeze windows were installed that provide floor to ceiling visibility and provide ¾ screen area when opened.  Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring was used to provide a beautiful finished look.  Infrared heaters provide instant heat due to the benefits of Infrared heating.

Bringing the Outdoors In: The Ultimate Sunroom Experience

The new sunroom provides a panoramic view of the backyard and woods behind the house.  The accordion doors open to invite the outside into the home and to brighten the entire space.  We created a warm, comfortable environment for cool weather and an outdoor experience with ¾ screen in the warmer months.  It is truly a four-season outdoor experience.
