We’ve been serving Maryland homeowners since 2012, originally as KP Contracting and now as KP Homescapes. Our leadership brings decades of combined experience in outdoor living design and all forms of residential construction, including custom home building from 2004 to 2014.

We begin with a free Discovery Call to learn more about your goals, timeline, and budget. From there, we schedule a free in-home design consultation. This ensures we have the time and context to hear your vision before offering our expert guidance and developing a plan that meets your needs. Most in-home consultations result in a detailed design proposal. Some complex projects may require a design fee for additional design services, which is subtracted from the project agreement cost.
Once you decide to move forward, we handle everything. We submit all permits and HOA applications, develop a detailed design and proposal, and assign a dedicated project manager to your project before construction begins. During the build, your project manager keeps you updated at every stage. When the work is complete, we walk you through the finished space to confirm every detail is right. Most projects reach that final walkthrough in one to two weeks for decks and patios, and four to eight weeks for larger structures like porches and sunrooms.

After your initial consultation, we provide a detailed proposal with transparent pricing so you know exactly what you’re paying for and why. In most cases, we can provide ballpark pricing during our first discovery call once we understand the scope of your project. Our design consultants are trained to provide accurate pricing in most home visits.
