As Senior Outdoor Living Consultant, Phillip guides homeowners through the design and planning of custom outdoor spaces, including decks, screened porches, sunrooms, pergolas, and hardscapes. The son of KP Homescapes‘ owner, he grew up on job sites and was running large residential construction crews by age 19, bringing more than 20 years of outdoor construction experience to the role.
Phillip is an MHIC-licensed salesperson through the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and holds NADRA-certified Deck Evaluation and Inspection credentials. Years in the field taught him that many contractors focus on building without first nailing down design feasibility or listening to what the homeowner wants to achieve. He leads with full transparency: clear scope of work, complete alignment with the client, and unambiguous pricing before a single board is cut. Carrying forward the family business, he focuses on building long-term relationships based on trust.
Born in Williston, Florida, Phillip lived in Florida, Ohio, and Missouri before moving to Maryland in 1997, where he now lives in Anne Arundel County. Outside of work, he prioritizes family time and traveling internationally with his wife to experience new cultures and cuisines. An avid golfer, he plays courses across the country and abroad as his primary way to unwind.
